I purchased a License and submitted my Machine ID, when will the License get updated?
We usually update all licenses in the NinjaTrader database in 48 hours.
Where Can I Find My Machine ID?
You can find your NinjaTrader Machine ID by opening your NinjaTrader Control Center>Help>About. There, you will find your Machine ID.
My buttons are enabled, but no trades are taken. What should I do?
Make sure that your ATM name has been properly inputted “the text must be exact” to match the ATM strategy in your Chart Trader and your Account matches the account active in your Chart Trader.
I get Zeros (000) when Back-Testing the Strategies.
Unfortunately NinjaTrader 8 ATM uses real-time data and can not use historical data, so back testing will not work. We use market replay on a chart to back-test.
What settings should I use for optimal results?
Review the manual for configuration settings for future markets. This will give you the basics. We always test the week prior to the market open to see if we need to make changes. Most of the time, we will change the Chart time i.e. from 5 minutes to 10 minutes or from 2000 ticks to 4000 ticks. This change will change the frequency of the high and low bar.
What Platforms Are Compatible with The Bars Edge Trader Software?
Bars Edge Trader programs and indicators are designed specifically for the NinjaTrader 8 Trading Platform. If you have a brokerage account that doesn’t use the NinjaTrader platform, you can always use NinjaTrader and our software as analysis tools and place your orders with your brokerage account.
Does Bars Edge Trader Software Work on the Free Version Of NinjaTrader NT 8 Platform?
Yes, All of our products will work on either the free or paid version of NinjaTrader.
